The construction of the Yeti Tundra 50 Cooler is carried to the extreme, because there are elite groups of outdoorsmen and adventurers who seek extremes. Desert sun has scorched these coolers. Blizzards have frozen them. Bears have gnawed on them. They have tumbled off trucks and cliffs. All the while, the Yeti 50 kept its cool. This is one ice chest that puts no conditions on reliability under the harshest conditions. There's no better choice to keep food and drinks cold in a campsite, job site, pickup bed, or over your favorite fishing hole. One piece roto-molded UV polyethylene construction is extremely durable and a full length, self-stopping hinge can't hyper extend and break. You'll never buy another cooler! Replaceable nylon rope and textured grip handles make carrying easier. Padlock holes are molded into the cooler body and lid for added security. Dry goods rack included.

Great size! Kept my frozen goods ice cold on a 3 day move from New Mexico to Montana. I can lift the cooler full myself without a dolly or forklift.
Sturdy construction- it will probably last a lifetime. It does keep things cooler much longer than conventional coolers and overall I am very pleased with it. Downside would be the weight- and since I leave this on my boat it is a non-issue. If you need to lug this around with stuff in it, you may find it on the heavy side. The SeaTek pad I bought for it works great for standing on it while fishing. Happy with ACK's service. Ordering was simple, it was shipped quickly and delivered on time.
yeti 50 cooler - best of the best!
My wife really likes to cook all meals during camping and having a cooler that performs well is essential. The cooler that we used previously had issues with the lid popping open and the food not be kept as cold as it should be. From a food safety perspective, I would really recommend it since there is less worry that the perishable food will be kept cold enough. ACK were the only ones that had the Ice Blue color in stock, at the time I purchased it, and the order was promptly processed and shipped.
