Ultra stable kayak at a great price! I have been very happy with my Topwater 120. The wide open cockpit makes standing easy. The tracks made rigging easy and I didn’t need to drill any holes. Tons of storage areas for tackle and the tank well fits a crate or cooler. Unique hull design makes this kayak very stable. It’s also light enough for me to car top. Best of all it comes with a lifetime warranty.
Old Town did a great job at designing this kayak for any type of fisherman/fisherwoman. It has an open deck design, which is great when you want to be able to stand up and fish without worrying about stepping on anything. Another great feature that I like about this is the stability. It cannot be talked about enough, for a 12' kayak, this boat is super stable. I am always a little iffy about standing up for the first time in any kayak, especially with valuables on board, but I didn't have to worry about flipping. I even stood up and rocked the kayak back and forth without flipping. There are tons of other little features that OTC added to this boat, which makes it that much more convenient for fisherman that I have yet to test out, but will in the near future. I really like that you can take out the seat and that there are rod slots under the seat to rest a couple of rods. OTC did a great job at coming up with a boat simple enough but also sleek in design and functionality. If you get the chance, test one out for yourself and experience just how sweet it is.
