$30 for a piece of plastic that converts the almost non-usable space on the Hobie PA-14 into a genius place to store electricity.

Top Question & Answer
Q: Does this kit allow for the 10Ah batteries to fit in the rear hatch of a 2017 PA14 where the keel effectively splits that area into 2 almost unusable spaces?
A: Yes, this drops down into the 8" hatch opening on the Hobies.

Q: Can the Nocqua batteries be wired in parallel to increase Amp hours?
Figured I would ask and then post the response I got. Top notch company to respond honestly!!! I must say I will be buying and just use one battery to power my fish finder and the other to run my other accessories. Answered straight from Nocqua. The way our battery is designed disallows a parallel wiring setup. We have tried to DIY a handful of Y connectors to test this setup out, but the circuitry shuts off the battery and resets the power. Though this indicates that the battery is operating properly (because it instigates a safety shut down), we were not able to double up on the amps. As for the 20Ah battery, we made the decision to cut things off at 10Ah. This amperage is the limit at which the characteristics that make the battery awesome (lightweight, durable, quickly charged, etc.) has a bit of point of no return. By adding in more amps, we’re increasing the weight and adding more size to the battery. It also will require the battery to sit on the wall charger for much longer. Thank you again for the email and I wish I had a more positive response to provide. Please let me know if I can help out with any other questions; feel free to give me a call if that’s easiest!
