The SS127 fishing kayak from Bonafide delivers the Ultimate Fishability™. It was designed by anglers, for anglers and is loaded with features you won't find anywhere else. The hybrid cat hull design provides maximum stability without sacrificing paddling performance. The SS127 features the incredibly comfortable HiRise™ seating system. The ultra-high seat allows you to sit with your knees bent, taking pressure off of your lower back. If you want to really dig in and cover some distance, the SeatRack™ and foldable seat frame allow quick and quiet conversion to a lower position. The SS127 provides enough stability that you can stand on the gunwales for a better vantage point while sight casting. Surprisingly, a boat this wide and stable still paddles efficiently with exceptional tracking. The Bonafide SS127 is truly an incredible fishing kayak.

Love this boat! Paddles well, the seat is unbelievable and stability is crazy. I can stand with both feet on one side of the boat. The dry pod is a awesome feature if you plan on adding a fish finder.
Been out a couple times for a few hours. First off the kayak is light compared to my last ATAK 140. Easy loading on my bed- extender. It tracks about the same as a 14ft kayak. It glides better than my ATAK. It maneuvers better than my 14ft kayak, maybe because its 12.7in. Speed is ok. Stability, holy s#&t. Im 6' 240lb and I stood right up. I leaned over and it felt like it was pushing back. Great secondary. Dry pod, junk drawer, seat and general layout is first class workmanship. I got the sand color. It is not just solid color, it has very small black flexs in it. Looks sweet. My big complaint is that the seat is too narrow, at least for me. Inside dimension from frame is 16". After a couple hours it starts bothering my hip. My ATAK never was a problem. Bonafide needs to look into widening the seat.
I've owned my SS127 for a few months now enough time to sort out my thoughts. Pros: 1. Excellent Stability -- I think the main selling point of this kayak is its stability. Ive taken it out on some chop and never does it make me feel like im going to get flipped. 2. Excellent Tracking -- Once you get this thing going it takes minimal effort to keep it going, tracks excellent. 3. Accesories -- There are yak attack rails every which gives you plenty of mounting options. 4. Quality -- I feel like a lot of thought and craftsmanship went in to this kayak. Everything from the seat, the hatch, the rails and handles are very well thought out and that Bonafide used quality materials in constructing this kayak. Cons 1. Hard to keep on the spot -- This is my only complaint on this kayak. Unfortunately I feel like it is a big one. Once you get to fishing your spot the slightest breeze or wind can blow this kayak off. I find myself trying to adjust and paddle with one arm trying to fish with the other if there is a just the slightest amount of wind. -- Overall I still like the boat. It is a definitely a high quality and stable fishing platform. Ton anyone reading this maybe if you are in an area where it is frequently windy install a rudder or some kind of easy to deploy anchor system.
Purchased the SS127 about 1 month ago and have had it on the water several times a week. I love the stability and the ability to sit high. It is very stable!. Stability comes with a trade off and even with the seat in the low position it does not paddle like a Tarpon. It tracks well but definitely takes more effort than a non stability hull. The second negative is the wind has a greater impact and will spin you around and add to the effort required to paddle. With all that said I love the SS127, great layout, great storage and customization options, great stability. As long as you have the right expectations on what you are getting you will enjoy this kayak.
