Product Description and Specs

The Seattle Sports Nemo Extremo Kayak Cart is a heavy-duty cart that is as tough and rugged as the name sounds. Combining air-less, hassle-free, leak-free wheels with a super heavy-duty frame design that offers superior load capacity and eliminates failure points, the Extremo can take the abuse of heavy loads and pitted paths. An anodized blue finish and new spiral hub design makes this cart as pretty as it is tough. Two included cinch straps for secure transport and a break-apart frame for super low-profile kayak storage, separates the Extremo from the rest. Max capacity is 250 pounds.

Ordered two of these carts. Have yet to use them, but they seem like they’ll be sturdy; however....... Unlike the picture, ours came with different straps with rubber protectors around the strap clasps which seems like an improvement. NOTE: we had a warranty issue which ACK promptly rectified! Two “manufacturing” issues to watch it for: in the three boxes we ended up getting, in two of them, the wheel cotter pins were loose in the box and one had completely fallen out of the not fully taped box in shipment. Also our kickstand fasteners look different from the box picture. The nut on one of the two kickstand spring fasteners (in all three boxes!) was about to fall off. We caught it and retightened everything. Will update this review once we’ve used the carts.

Q: What are folded dimensions of the Seattle Sports Nemo Extremo Kayak Cart?

The box states 11” x 20”, but not how “tall”, which is about 5” due to wheel/bracket thickness. The wheels come off easily and could be stored separately. The frame separates and becomes less structured than a rigid 11”x20” rectangle. Ours fits easily into an empty rear Tsunami hatch.
