My first kayak. Very happy I pulled the trigger and got this one. I was looking for a kayak in the $500-$600 range that I could fish and explore with. This kayak came in under budget and offers what I was looking in a yak. Very happy with my new kayak and with ACK.
First off ordering from ACK was quick and easy. We did have to wait a month or so for delivery but we did order 2 popular kayaks so no big deal. Ok so the Perception Sound 10.5 was my first kayak. I picked it because of both reviews and features. I am planning on using it not only for recreational and fishing but camping trips on sheltered water, lakes and rivers. The dash for a small box and the places for Scotty mounts came in handy for my rod and gps mounts. My only negative is the Zone seating, yes it is an upgrade but still thin, would like to be able to upgrade to the Zone DLX same as our Perception, much nicer seat and leg support. Overall i am very happy with my first kayak and would easily recommend it and Perception as an solid well made product.
