So, we are getting a new phone system installed at all of our locations and I got a phone call the other day asking if it is alright if our phones have a European dial-tone on them. Apparently the phones they ordered are coming out of Europe and they cannot change the sound of the dial-tone.

Wow, did we blow it. Today is Monday and we failed to issue a Deal of the Week.

We love this time of your year, it is so great to have so many customer’s test so many kayaks. I think I counted 52 models on the beach that were there to be test paddled and over 400 customer’s got to test paddle the kayaks and figure out which ones they like and don’t like.

This weekend is a big weekend for us, it is big in many ways and one of which is the ability for customers to test so many boats. As a way to share this with our online friends that cannot make it to Austin or San Marcos but want something big, well, you will get it.

I got back into Austin yesterday after spending a week in Michigan enjoying a wedding and taking the opportunity to introduce my new baby to family members. In my travels I was really excited to hear all the stories and question from friends and family about the kayaking world and what it offered.
