So my regular updates have fallen prey to the busy season that has come upon us. You all are keeping us quite busy with the orders.
So, everyone seems to always be wondering about ACK and how ‘black Friday’ is to us. Well, it is just a Friday, you see, we don’t run 50% off some inferior item in hopes to draw you in to buy other stuff.
I alluded to something coming soon as we have seen dramatic decreases in the surcharges that we are charged when we ship kayaks. As our continued effort to pass along savings to our customers we are passing this along by offering FREE SHIPPING on kayaks.
Has anyone noticed that the price of gasoline has been dropping like a rock? I paid $1.
So, I mentioned that something big would be happening, you may not find this ‘big’ but it is not ordinary for us to ever offer such discounts, we believe in everyday pricing that is unbelievable as it is. Anyway, between now and November 16th you get 10% off all kayaks and 20% off all accessories, just use coupon code “GRAND” at checkout.
As seen in the Austin Business Journal: Austin Canoe & Kayak is paddling into a larger, and some say, more challenging stream — the Houston market.
Thank you for all the reading, I am confident that I have at least 4 active readers (excluding family and friends). So, for you 4 active readers I am giving you a heads up…
So, the world still has not ended, and since it is still going on we thought we would take a moment and fix our “Specials” page. You see, it was designed to deliver specials, hence the name.
If you listen to the media the world is coming to an end any day, well, if that is the case wouldn’t you rather be kayaking than sitting at your desk staring at your cubicle wall wondering if you will know when the end is really there. Since I can’t convince the media to try to be a bit more upbeat and not tell everyone something that has to become true to fulfill their now, self fulfilling prophecy, I will have to resort to posting a blog to ALL my readers that the world is not coming to an end and just in case it is they should get out and kayak one last time.
