The pedal part of the Riot Mako 12 Kayak is OK, but the rudder control lever has gotten too hard to use. Needs some way of lubricating the cables. I have used the Kayak 3 times so far.

It would be helpful if the instructions told you how to remove the four front corner pieces. You should insert an Allen wrench or similar object that fits in the open holes between the two screws on each back corner, and push hard to pop out the front corner covers. Do not remove the back screws. The covers will pop back on after you install the shield which looks like it will work very well.
