The Rhino Nautic Kayak Lifter is a complete system for easily loading and unloading sit on top kayaks. It is the only one in the market that has an 176 lb load capacity, does not require any heavy lifting and a single person can operate it using the included winch. The unit is designed to be neatly stored on the roof of your vehicle beside your kayak when not in operation. Designed to fit Rhino-Rack Vortex and Thule Aero systems with bar overhang with at least 100mm.

I own an FJ Cruiser with a sit-on Hank Parker yak. I have the stock FJrack. Will your Rhino Rack work with my set up?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, based on the information we have, the Rhino Rack Lifter fits the Rhino Rack Vortex and Thule Aero rack systems which are flat bars.

Once you have one kayak up, you can attempt to try and slide it completely over and try to use it for a second. You won't be able to take the winch off and switch it to the other side.

Unfortunately, the Kayak Lifter is designed for single kayaks rather than two, so attempting to lift two on top of the Ranger may not work quite like you would hope. However, it will make loading each one independently much more easy and effective.

This does not come partially assembled, and yes, replacement parts are available for this. It appears that we can special order pretty much any parts that you would need. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Yes it will. Sit on top kayaks typically weigh significantly more than sit inside kayaks though, so I think this product is typically used with sit on top kayaks.
