This replaced the same item I lost on the road. It is very versa tel and the reason I replaced it in kind. I highly recommend it for people who kayak alone!
I've wanted a Four-Play ever since they first came out some years ago. While I have a dependable roll, I always carry a backup paddle float. My previous floats all had the potential to get punctured or torn in difficult circumstances, and I liked the idea that this one was bomb-proof. Although it is more bulky than conventional inflatable paddle floats, I replaced the old cushion I used to use in sliding my kayak on and off my car racks with the Four Play, and I also replaced my folding chair with the Four Play, so on balance I am carrying less gear. I thought perhaps that an item designed for four different uses would be mediocre at most of them, but this is definitely not the case. I am most pleased with the North Winds Four Play, and even though it is expensive, I got an excellent deal on it from ACK, and I shopped around quite a bit.
