Very well constructed kit and
instructions could be followed
with little effort. If youre
putting this on an older Manta
Ray like mine Liquid Logic era
you'll need an extra well nut
and screw as the stern
configuration is a bit
different.
The instructions were comprehensive but could have had a few more examples and better image quality. Aside from the couple of negatives, the instructions allowed me to accurately install the rudder. I added two springs to the rudder to allow it to return to center when my feet were off the pedals; works great. I also added knobs for better gripping for lowering and raising the rudder instead of using a knot as described in the instruction. On the water I was more than pleased with the rudder and worth the money.
This kit is very well made and includes all the parts that you need. The step by step instructions are OK but don't really explain well how to adjust it correctly, how it should look when completed, or how to get the most effective use out of it.
