I bought these to use with Hobie PA14 cradles on my Malone
MicroSport trailer. However, because of the required spacing, I
couldn't use either the cradles or the mounts because the distance
between the load bars is much too small for the PA14 (I don't know
if it is sufficient for other Hobie models, but make sure it is before
you purchase them). After another family member bought a kayak,
which caused me to exceed the weight capacity of my trailer, I
purchased the Malone MegaSport. Fortunately, I was able to easily
adjust the load bar distance on it to accommodate my PA14.
