Good! But also Flawed.
I’ve had my Lure 10 V2 for about 7 months now, let me start out with the positives. It’s STABLE. I’m not a big guy, but I have zero doubt whatsoever that anybody up to, or over 300 pounds would have any trouble with feeing unstable in this kayak. Storage is decent, not great. You can fit a Black Pack in the rear storage well, but you have to fit it sideways, which I’m not a fan of. The front hatch is good for storing soft plastics or extra clothing, etc. You can store rods inside the kayak, I’ve gotten as many as 6 in there. You do have to be careful pulling them out, as they have to be bent in order to make it out, and at one point, I had a guide get bent up pretty good, but it is possible. The seat is awesome, not the most comfortable, but the ability to raise up so high off the deck is awesome. The sonar pod is nice as well, I do have my Helix 7 mounted to it, with my battery inside it. The wheel in the keel makes maneuvering the kayak much easier. Now for the bad, it SUCKS to paddle. It is a very heavy kayak, and if your going long distances, it’s going to exhaust you. I don’t have a rudder, so I can’t give an opinion on it, but I’m sure it would help keeping the kayak facing my target area better. The wind blows you all over, but that’s any kayak. Even on calm days though, the back of the kayak constantly wants to spin around so you are facing opposite of where you want to fish. It is a good Kayak, no doubt it, but it certainly has its flaws. If you mounted a trolling motor or torquedo to it, it would make the Kayak MUCH better, and likely give it 5 stars.
