Disappointed with workmanship of the boat exterior. Bubbles and
rough surface . I bought same boat several years ago and it does
not have these imperfections. Since I liked my boats quality and
performance I bought this one as a mail order gift . Color should
not be the difference so assume this is a quality change. I have
never ordered anything like this online and only did having the
same model , and the reviews of the boat remain high. I would
however not mail order an item of this size again and do plan to
look at another boat in store to see if it has same issues or if the
price I got was a result of "seconds" . I do expect it to perform well
. My boat is bright green and this boat review is blue ...in case it is
a color issue and that helps anyone concerned about the look.

Love it! We have owned our Dagger Zydecos for three years. We kayak one to two times a week and the trips are from one to four hours long. Our preference is slower rivers and lakes. We also go on 3 day kayak camping trips.
What we love: they are very stable kayaks. Easy to maneuver in the water. Easy to get in and out of. They handle slow water and faster water well. The seat is very comfortable. Great storage in the hull and on top for overnight camping trips. Are easy to move in and out of water (and I am an middle aged woman).
Things I wish were different: I wish it had a water bottle holder as ours don't. That's it.
I wouldn't trade my Zydeco for anything. We have two and love them. Anytime we let a friend borrow one we always hear how great the kayak did and how much they liked them compared to others they have used. They are great for beginners. And with all the pluses you can add cost to that. They are very affordable kayaks.
