Description: Newly redesigned for 2012 the Stohlquist Cruiser High Back PFD is shaped for women, with a smaller cut, shortened torso and supportive inner cups. The Cruiser is shaped for women, with a smaller cut, shortened torso and supportive inner cups. The back side has half flotation/half cool mesh to fit comfortably above the seat back found in many of today's rec-tour boats. Neoprene padded shoulders and lower back waist band are easy on the skin when worn with a swim suit. A wide range of adjustability makes for the perfect fit.
ACK Review: I have heard great things about the comfort and performance of this high back jacket from Stohlquist. The cruiser comes in a nice assortment of colors and fits comfortably.

| Review: | At first try on I wasn't sure I liked this life vest, but after a good bit of adjustments I found just the perfect fit for me. I also have the Mona Lisa life vest by MTI and find that it rubs on the insides of my arms, but the Cruiser does not. After a good bit of kayaking in this vest I am really glad I purchased it. I really enjoy having the large front pockets for keys and other stuff. The high back is very comfortable in my touring and in my recreational kayaks. I bought the pink color and it is highly visible and exactly the shade shown. | ||

The padding in the front is very bulky, and I was worried it would affect paddling, but it doesn't get in the way at all. My only criticism is that it has only a single d-ring inside one pocket as an attachment point for lanyards, etc. It's very comfortable to wear all day long. What works well for this vest as opposed other brands selling vests tailored for women is that Stohlquist actually cuts the floatation foam in the chest area to a woman's curves.
