Great kayak! Excellent service fro ACK! We took this boat out to a sandbar in an estuary and tried it out...very stable for beginners like us. My wife and I were both able to easily get in and out of. The kayak paddled easy and was easy to steer with skeg up...you really have to work to turn it when skeg is down. That is a testament to how well the skeg works. My wife (120lbs) paddled a half mile back in 20 mph headwind and heavy chop...the boat took on water only from the paddle dripping. She is a non swimmer and felt very safe even knowing sharks and gators are nearby. The boat is well built and ACK will add on accessories before shipping. I decided to write this review because there was very little info about this boat online and it is a boat that is definitely worth chew heckling out. I have not tried it in class I or II rivers but expected it to do well considering the the way it handled the salt water chop. I hope this helps!

I am thrilled with this boat. I use it for day trips on local lakes of about 600 acres. It's very comfortable (I'm a 50- something 5'9" female) and I love the console. It tracks well, even when I forget to lower the skeg (which does make a difference). I don't have a lot of upper-body strength but I can load and unload this boat into my pickup's bed by myself--a big plus since I'm a solitary paddler. Oh, and the blue color is beautiful!

Review:
After trying several different types of kayaks I purchased two Aspire105’s for my wife and I who are both in our mid 60’s and we are new at kayaking. We both needed a kayak with a good adjustable seat which only Wilderness kayaks had. The 105 has everything that we wanted and with the drop down skeg made it a real plus. The Aspire 105 handles and tracks very well. On our second time out on the lake we paddled for four straight hours. ACK handled our purchase and their customer service is great.
