These are a much more useful
end cap than the standard cap.
The standard cap simply fills
a hole and serves no other
purpose. These caps provide
additional security to your
load by assuring the binding
straps will not slip off the
ends of the cross bars. Easy
to install one screw. Overall,
a great product.

Review:
Works well for holding straps down. I don't feel 100% confident straps won't lip over the caps. Yakama could have made the protruding lips a little longer and curved inward.
