The AT 2 standard is the right paddle to go with if you want the best all around whitewater kayak in the business.
Customer Rating: 4.8 of 5
The AT2 is the first serious whitewater paddle I ever had. This
means I used it throughout my kayaking career. There are three
important things about the AT2 that lets it stand apart from other
paddles in my opinion. The three traits are how light it is, how easy
stokes are, and the way the bent shaft is designed. It is an easy
paddle for beginners to use because of how light it is. I never had
to worry about my arms getting tired when I paddled with it. I took
the AT2 on the middle and lower gauley and I really noticed
throughout the day how my arms felt the same as they did when I
put on. In December of 2013 I traveled to Chile. Chile was the
perfect place to test this paddle on tighter creeks, as well as bigger
waterfalls. I noticed how responsive the blade shape was when I
was on these creeks. It was very easy to take multiple strokes
quickly. As my stroke finished, no effort was required to take the
paddle out of the water and ready it for another stroke. This
characteristic also allowed for the quick unplanned boof strokes
that I ended up needing sometimes. The last of the traits is the
way the shaft is bent. In 2012 I broke my wrist snowboarding and
since then my wrist has hurt while I kayak. However, when I was
using the AT2, my wrist never hurts. This can be attributed to the
bent shaft. The way it is bent feels very natural when paddling.
Unlike other brands, the AT2 is bent only in one spot along the grip
unlike the "v" grip. This allows for no power lost, as well as
maximum comfort. These are some reasons why the Adventure
Technology AT2 paddle stands out from other paddles. I loved the
AT2 paddle and was very sad to lose it when I took swim. Thanks

This paddle is awesome! It
slices thru water like butter!
Love the feel of it gliding into
the water! Great for someone
with carpal tunnel, don't feel
the soreness in wrists that
once did with other paddles!
Solid and light. I would
recommend to anyone!
Was a very good buy.
The catch is the best.
It is very light and easy to use.
