Review:

Was looking for a little more stability on flat water so I upgraded from a Southpoint Kalama 11.6 to the Hobie ATRII 12.2. Im a big paddler 65 290lbs and this board is awesome. It glides well and is super stable. My wife has a Surftech 9.6 and she tried it and couldnt believe how nice it is. Havent made it to the surf yet but as far as flat water goes it is awesome. As for ACK, the first board they sent was very well packaged and had no signs of shipping damage. After the driver left I was removing the inner foam wrapping and found a cone shaped crack on the bottom of the board. I never did find the screw from the fin mount so I assume it got wedged between the foam and board and caused the damage. Bottom line is ACK replaced the board with no questions asked. They stand behind what they sell and have won a life long customer. GREAT JOB ACK!!!
