Makes loading and unloading by yourself a breeze. It does mark the bottom of the kayak a little, but so does everything else! I love it.

Review:

The Thule Outrigger II with Extension Bar works great! It allows me to load my 72lb., two person fishing kayak onto the car by myself quite easily. NOTE: You must be careful extending it or you will break off the plastic stop and it could extend too far into a dangerous position (voice of experience, an new stop only costs a dollar.)

Review:

A great tool. I wouldn't be able to load my kayak alone without it. I'm sure it has saved me from a slipped disc many a times. I would give it a 5 if not for the fact that it scratches the kayak hull.
