Review:

GoPro's HD Hero 2 is an incredible camera for kayak fishing and outdoor sports. I also own the previous Hero HD and while it still serves me well, the Hero 2 delivers crisper video and still pictures than its predecessor. The menus are also more intuitive and GoPro added a few new features to an already solid camera. Lastly, the current & future add-ons (LCD screen, Wi-Fi Back, etc) make this a winning choice for the long haul. The Outdoor Edition comes with some nice accessories including the head mount which allows the user to capture a unique, first person experience. I also purchased the tripod mount (less than $10) for mounting to a pole in my kayak crate - this is my preferred method of filming and the results a quite astonishing. I can honestly say that this camera is worth every penny and has positively changed the way I enjoy the outdoors - you won't be disappointed!
