Chery R
I am a trail rider and since there is not always a water source at the trail head. This 5.5 gallon water container is perfect for me to bring water along for my horses. I just fill it at home and place it in the horse trailer. Works Great
Super Dave
I now have four of these that come with me in my Jeep for back country travel, primarily in Northern Maine. I may stay out for a few days at a time camping so having 22 gallons of spring water for cooking and drinking is great. Nobody up here drinks unfiltered water, it may look clean but Moose urine insnt my cup of tea. I hate using a filter/pump. It is time consuming and just plain slow. These water containers pack well and are very rugged.
Not a camper
I bought two of these with the intent of being able to stack them together on their sides. One is perfect, the other has a slight leak at the vent cap. It will allow a drop of water every few minutes to come out, so it's fine for normal upright storage, but not on its side. The container itself is extremely rugged and I have no worries about cracking and so on.
ACK's Response:
These are supposed to be air/water tight. In this case it was a defective cap which we have replaced.
