I have a variety of stoves for individual cooking on camp- outs (butane, alcohol, wood gas, etc), and none are as small and light as this one. This was very much worth the buy! Check out the product photo above that has a small percolator on the stove, and that's exactly how I use it! The only down-side is that I would not take this stove on trips where I'd be hiking, as I prefer stoves that can take biofuel as a back-up in case we're unexpectedly out for longer than we anticipated. But, as most of my camping is what I call "dump-truck camping" (pull up the truck, dump out the gear, and camp right there) this stove is a fine back-up for when it's too cold for the Troop's propane stove to work.
small, compact gr8 for hunting,MREs, alot cheaper than other sites
