Something Unexpected Occurred...
Another clever design from Hobie. Keeps the sun and wind off your body while still leaving plenty of leg room. Installs quickly and easily.

Dodger works as advertised.
Short support rod is very
difficult to insert; don't give up
by cutting the rod. I usually

installation instructions for the

This works as well as advertised.
My lower half is protected from
hours of sun exposure.
Nice product, a little smaller than I would have thought. Poles were a bear to get in place(I leave them in when storing) Keeps you very well protected in wind and cold. Not for the claustrophobic, but if you are a die hard in New England who is still out there in November and December this is a must.
A good idea and an outstanding shape (an exact replica of a Stephenson's Warmlite tent), but the execution seems flawed. The poles are skinny and not shock-corded. I found it extremely difficult to fit the long pole into its sleeve ends, and
IMPOSSIBLE to fit the short pole in. Pole seems too long. Bent the ferule trying. As it turns out, the shape will not adapt to the front of the Oasis as I was hoping (no one promised it would
anyway). I'm unsure how well it would all furl up to lay in the front of the boat as claimed. Should have some way to furl it and secure to the front, sort of like a convertible top on a car.
