This is my first kayak as I am
an amateur. I rented a few
different ones to try. I
bought this one because when
analyzing the features I would
need in order to participate
in this sport by myself it had
all I needed. I love the tag
along wheel, very comfortable
seat and the paddle holder. As
a short woman it was easiest
for me to move, load and board
by myself. I receive many
comments on how nice it is and
I have truly enjoyed it so
much. With its rounded front
it doesnt seem to go through
the water as easily as some of
the others it is a crossover
but it still is perfect for
me. What I really want to
comment on is the customer
service I received from ACK.
I live in Illinois and order
this online at 2PM on a
Tuesday afternoon. I received
it at my home before noon on
Friday. All questions I had
were quickly answered. The
shipping company was equally
good ESTES and helpful. I am
now a loyal customer and will
be purposing my accessories
from here.

Purchased from ACK and very
pleased. I am able to use this
kayak in all types of waters
from flat, to chop, to rivers.
I have been using the Coupe
for a somewhat unique
circumstance - I live near a
large lake with lots of boat
traffic. In the afternoons
there is a lot of chop and
swells - I am able to surf
this chop and swells within
the 5 mph zone in my Coupe and
have a blast doing it. Very
stable and very fast have
raced friends in sit-in
kayaks. Only critique is that
it is a bit heavy. The wheel
helps but still on the heavy
side - only impacts loading
and not performance.

I live near the Texas Hill
Country and if you are only
going to buy one sit-on-top,
this is the one. The price is
higher than many other sots
but it is well worth it. The
hull design allows you to
manuever almost like a
whitewater kayak and with the
skeg down you can track
straight on flat water. It
performs very well in rapids
and is very stable. You can
even surf in it. Buy it, you
will love it!
