Used the sail a few times so
far it takes a little to get
use to but once you get going
it will really push you
along.After a long day of
fishing its real nice to just
kick back and let the wind
take you home.I beleive that
if you have a rudder system to
steer with it would really
help out.When you use your
paddle to steer it does slow
you down unless you pull the
paddle instead of using it for
drag on one side.overall it is
a great purchase.

After watching the folding
videos and mastering
this "art", we launched into a
nice breeze that
carried us much further and
faster than we had
anticipated. Quality
construction, but a bit
light on the instructions on
how to use the sail
in the included brochure. If
you have a computer,
bone up ahead of time in their
FYI's and videos.
Basically, it's a novel sail
that is fun to use
and really works. It helps
with the paddling,
easily pushing the canoe
faster than you can
paddle.
We'd recommend the sail, with
the knowledge that
you eventually need to paddle
back up wind. I'd
suggest a "Downwinder" or do
your upwind paddling
first.
