great paddle, weight is just right. I'm an active
female, but don't have a very strong upper
body and the weight wasn't an issue when
paddling out on a lake for two days in a row.
The larger paddle size pushes you thru the
water w/ ease. Great buy- highly
recommended.

Bought at ACK based on an ad
on Paddling.net.
Great fast service from the
vendor and free
shipping. The bending branches
kayak paddle with
fiberglass shaft is well made
and was easy to adapt
to my 16 canoe when paddling
solo. Would
recommend ACK for paddling
needs.

Excellent
beginner/intermediate paddle!
The paddle is nice and light
but really moves my 47 pound
kayak effortlessly through the
water. I took on a passenger,
so I was hauling roughly 250
lbs plus the weight of the
kayak, and I was able to move
through the water with ease.
A great value and a product I
plan on using for a long time.

This paddle is GREAT! It
feels great in the hand
and performs well. One subtle
thing that could
easily go overlooked is the
ribbed pattern on the
shaft. It is textured like a
snake skin. Very
smooth in one direction but
textured to keep your
hand from slipping toward the
blade. Very nice
paddle!

Paddle is light and great for
a long time on the water.
However blades are too small

strokes to get up to speed.

Thanks to Kate and the great
customer service at ACK for
suggesting this paddle. What a

the calm water yet really
powers through the rough
water. Kate, ya did good - I

I really like the solid feel
of this paddle. Light weight,
feels good in my hands, can
get my kayak moving quite fast
when I want to. Blades match
the color of my Old Town

through the water nicely. I
would buy another one.

Absolutely love my bending
branches paddles, and I
own several and have
recommended them to many
friends who now own them. This
one I purchased to
go with my second favorite
yak, and used on a test
run eighteen miles around
Hontoon Island State
park in Deland Fl. on the St.
Johns River,It did
not disappoint and neither did
ACK as they got it
to me quickly as usual. thanks

I've been playing with paddle in garage the last couple days and I can't believe how light weight it is. I've kayaked many years as part of my job as a wildlife biologist (recently retired) but the paddles we used have always been aluminum and much heavier. The Bending Branches glass paddle should be a real treat to use by comparison. Still waiting for river to recede to more normal levels before setting sail.

Slice Glass...believe me, they named it right. This paddle slices thru the water with ease. Amazing paddle. Made a huge difference in my day trips. The only paddle I'll ever need. Thank you for excellent craftsmanship and to ack for fast service. I had no idea which paddle I needed. I called ack and a real person answered the phone on the second ring. I explained to him what my kayaking needs were, he recommended and I bought. Excellent company. Thanks again.

I purchased this Bending Branches Slice Glass Paddle to use when we take our daughter out paddling. We are not able to do this often enough to justify an expensive paddle, so this was an excellent option. This is a good paddle for the money and allows me to use my high angle style of paddling with pretty good results.
