I'm still learning how to have the slide out effect with the skillet, but the size is perfect for grilled cheese sandwiches and eggs.

Good item. Have owned for over a month with no issues. Follow the directions - rather easy, but takes a little effort to remember all 4 steps - and you'll be fine.
