Dolphin Aruba 10' Sit In Kayak just fine,
even though Seals told me it wouldn't. I
added four strings (front, back, and
sides) to tie down the skirt and make
sure it doesn't go anywhere.

Thursday. What a great item it
fits well, keeps the water out
of my boat, and even helped
keep me warm on a cold day. I
loved the zippered
compartment. It held my phone
dry bag and glasses right
where I needed them. Bought
the same item last week from a
local shop I was checking
Amazon on my phone when I was
in there and there price was
about the same. I got home and
saw ACK prices I had to be a
fool not to return the locals
shops skirt. After all was
said and done ACK saved me so
much money I was able to
purchase a cockpit cover and
with the difference it cost me
$6.00 for a $22.00 cover.
Thanks ACK your prices cant be
beat.

San Francisco Bay. It works great
on my Pungo and does everything it
should. This is a large opening so
reaching behind to get the bungee
to secure is a bit difficult but
otherwise it is great. Keeps the
sun off and most of the water out.

Our club members think that the for what they
are designed for... they are a 5 star product.
The skirts are strong, works well, stay in
place, cover you from the sun, comes with a
supporting stay which bows well helping paddle
drips roll off, ut has a 2 lip that goes all
around you... We havent used them more than 3
times... So we cant testify to how long they
last... But the sun and water in Okinawa will
certainly test them!

warmer weather. Nice big
pocket for stuff too, but you
have to be sure its not stuff
you want to get wet because

through plastic for keeping
maps and other things dry.

on our Pungo 100s. My wife is
really glad I thought ahead
and purchased these skirts.
She was surprised how much
water you can get inside of a
kayak just from paddling.
Takes awhile to figure out how
to comfortably get this skirt
on, but the more you do it the
easier it gets. We consider
this a must.

This turned my Vapor 10 from a
wet and cold ride when it got
cooler to much drier, even if
it's windy enough to get spray
it still keeps most of the
water out to the extent that I
can keep my camera between my
legs and not worry about it
getting soaked.
Fit perfectly (I like the bows
and straps that keep the deck
arched upward), looks good,
doesn't get in the way... I
couldn't be happier.

great. I am confident it will
do the job I purchased it for,
that is, to keep the sun off

Overall the skirt was very
good. It was made our of good
quality material and I see it
lasting a long time. I love
the fact that it closes in the
large cockpit of my kayak
without making it feel too
closed in.
The two negatives I found is
that for my Old Town Vapor 10
the largest skirt JUST fits.
It is a little hard to get on
and a couple times I noticed
it was starting to ride up.
The other thing is I don't
really like the straps that
are under the skirt by my
knees. They don't seem to
provide any value (at least
for my size kayak) and they
feel like they may get in my
way when I am entering the
kayak.
All in all a great alternative
to a full spray skirt that
allows more freedom, but still
offers protection from the
water.

I paddle with a greenland paddle and you get much more water in your cockpit with them. I used my Seals Splash Deck Spray Skirt last week-end and it works like a charm!! Keeps me dry, allows access to cockpit and keeps you cool since it doesn't totally enclose the cockpit. I give it a 10 rating!!!

Bought the larger version and it fits well on my Perception Prodigy 10, which has a huge cockpit. Keeps the hot sun and water off my legs and the zipper pocket holds a lot. I would have preferred just a bungee on the back though, rather than fabric all the way around.

Old Town Vapor 10XT - Seals Splash Deck is perfect, I can't believe I went a whole season without it. Does an excellent job eliminating paddle splash and I like the shade on my legs. The splash deck has two adjustable implosion bars on either side of a generous zippered compartment. It's nice to have handy storage and when I'm fishing, I just set my rod on the deck when I paddle. Easy to install, stays on even heading down the freeway w/ the kayak in the back of the truck. Also easy to remove but I just leave mine on all the time. Great product!

The Seals Splash Deck is an awesome product, I really had a hard time finding a spray skirt for my kayak (vapor 10) and when you are going on long trips it really makes it hard without a spray skirt. I recommend this product to everyone, easy to put on and use.

The Seals Splash Deck Kayak Spray Skirt is great for keeping water out of kayak in rapids. Sales rep for very helpful on phone with choosing the right size. Would suggest that securing the loop on end of skirt to bungee cords on kayak. You will lose the skirt when you flip your kayak.

First, Austin offers this Seals Splash Deck at a better price than most other dealers, so kudos to you. Second, the construction and materials seem first rate. Third, it fits my Necky Manitou nearly perfectly.
So why only 4 stars? It's HOT in warmer climes such as inland Northern California in the summer. It should repel water, because it certainly blocks air flow! I couldn't stand it for more than 30 minutes one recent summer evening, but I hope to use it more in cooler weather or in cooler coastal waters.

The splash deck by Seals was definitely worth it! It can be a bit tricky to strap on around the lip of the cockpit but I've found that using a carabiner securing the front loop to my kayak rigging really helped.
Overall, the construction is excellent. Splashes and paddle drips slide right off and the mesh pocket is excellent for keeping stuff close at hand!
I've thoroughly researched many other spray decks/skirts and I'm really glad I went with this one. Ordering from ACK was quick and they offered the best price online.

Can't beat this for the $! It fits great on my Old Town Vapor 10 and kept me warm and dry last week in the Sierra. Those pristine alpine lakes at 7000 ft are cold even in June, and I didn't miss the paddle drip at all.

Purchased 2 of these Spray Skirts for our Old Town kayaks. The fit is perfect and the splash from the paddle flows right off, Not like some skirts that leave puddles because of improper fit.And as always Austin Canoe and Kayak has the best prices and shipping charges in the business.

This spray skirt is worth every penny I paid for it. Good fit, easy to rapidly remove if necessary, and very effective in keeping the cold water off your legs or trousers. Don't be afraid to buy this. I have a Pungo 100 kayak and when kayaking this spring in the Okeefenokee swamp and other places, it paid for itself.

I ordered this for my Heritage Featherlite Angler. It fits very well and I like the adjustments for amount of bow you want in the top. But I wish they made them in a color other than black. Already too hot to use this in south Texas! Need a reflective color!

used it for the first time yesterday on a big lake with old town vapor 10. The wind was pushing 15 mph. On top of that there were boat races that were creating some waves. Not only did the Seal Spray Skirt keep the cockpit dry it also gave me some confidence as I felt secure inside. Awesome investment for my old town vapor 10~ also got a lot of compliments on the overall look of my yak~ note- my skirt is yellow.

The Seal splash deck spray skirt is a great buy. The price is right and it fits perfectly on the new Old Town 10 ft Vapor. It also comes with a zippered netted storage compartment that makes small items easily accessible and stiff bows that keep the cockpit open and the water drains overboard.

Nicely constructed. Great fit on the L.L. Bean Manatee. Still plenty of room to get in the boat. (I wish the back was split so that I could push it even more out of the way, though.) Keeps you shaded and dry. Excellent product.

This is a great skirt for normal use -- keeps the paddle drips off, yet allows for easy exits and entrances. The webbed and zippered pocket is convenient and it adjusts to have a slant so any spray drains off. Great for sun shade as well!

If you have a kayak with a large cockpit, you must buy this skirt. You will love this Splash Skirt. No paddle drips or spray from windy days to get into your kayak. New deck stay design prevents puddles on the deck. We bought 2, one for a Pungo 120 and one for a Prodigy 12. We paddle in Florida and this skirt is very comfortable in hot weather. The best thing is it keeps you dry. Go fo it!

This is a great product. It keeps the spray and wind off of you. There are elastic bands that ensure that the water does not drip in the yak. Also, the compartment is great for accessories like a water bottle and a IPOD dry bag.

Awesome product! The material is heavy duty, nice workmanship, and the design is great. No fooling around with trying to snap on a full skirt, lots of air flow, easy access to under-deck if you need to, and the gear pocket is perfect! Purchasing on-line here at Austins Canoe & Kayak was easy, I received shipment info within a couple hours of ordering (even on a Sunday!), and had my item by Thursday! Pleased all around!

This is my second purchase. They have updated the support and added a second one, a big improvement. The other change is material has been added around the bungee cord to the rear. I plan on cutting this off so that it can still be pushed forward to allow access to the forward cockpit.
