The product performed perfectly for the intended repair. This welder can fill most voids/cracks with no problem(If it can't...probably need a new boat). The supply of welding rods included makes a nice "easy buy" package.

Review:

The product is effective at repairing kayaks, but it comes with no instructions. So, it is a trial an error process learning to use the tool. It is fairly simple. A hot air gun may be a better option than the welder.

Review:

This product is amazing. I believe it is even easier to use than is stated. I had placed my sliding foot tracks(which I purchased from Austin Kayak as well) in a place that I was less than happy with. I purchased the KC Welder Pro, and within ten minutes I had all the holes filled with the same color plastic. I simply re-drilled my holes and installed my foot tracks in the optimal location. Thanks again Austin Kayak.
