Top Question & Answer
Q: I purchased this hatch line 72020042 from the store for my 07 Revo 13. It drops right through the hatch to the bottom of the yak rather than nesting on the lip of the hatch. Is there a different on that will fit or do I have a defective one ?
A: Hello Yakrider, The lines is supposed to rest on the lip of the hatch. It seems to me that you got the liner for a newer Revo 13.

It's nice to be able to keep everything together and handy. The only thing I can see that needs to be addressed is the bottom of the liner, it is basically paper thin. If I drop a heavy or sharp item in the bottom of the liner, it's going to go through it. I am confused because the rest of the liner is made of much thicker plastic.

What a difference. Makes the space usable, keeps contents in place not sloshing around all over.

Seems like a no-brainer. That liner is pretty light but robust. It fits the hatch well and does not cause any issues with closing the cover. That's a good start. That bucket does get a little wet in chop, and I am not exactly sure how water is getting in. The lid overlaps the hatch and bucket so it seems impossible to get water back up in there. But this is not the fault of the bucket. I just mention it because I had intended to throw my extra clothing layers in there as the day gets warmer. I may need a dry bag now but the liner DOES provide a nice amount of storage that is still accessible while on the water. For an idea of how big it is, I was able to close that hatch with my size-L PFD in it. There may still have been enough room to put some smaller items in with the PFD. Glad I bought one.
