This works fine. I'm probably going to replace the plastic carabiner with a metal one, but plastic doesn't corrode in salt water and metal does. Its comfortable and has been reliable in a number of practice tows I've been doing in preparation for an upcoming BCU 3-star assessment. The price on this one was very reasonable and it seems strong and well-constructed. I've heard a common complaint about tow belts, some people have lost the more expensive ones during quick releases. I guess its better to lose this one if it comes to that, rather than one costing over $100.

Great item! It already got put to good use the first time out on the water. I went kayaking with a first-timer and ended up towing my friend and his kayak most of the trip. Good length and easy to attach. Highly visible rope. Always good to buy from ACK.
