This paddle is everything I
thought it be. Lighter than my
aluminum paddles and the
measuring tape on the shaft is
really handy. I haven't used
the hook retrieval notch yet
but overall I am very satisfied
with this paddle.

Excellent paddle; lightweight
with several nice features. The
hook retrieval slot and tape
measure markings on the shaft
are convenient. The 240 cm
length works great from the
high seat in a Cuda. Paddles
like a one piece paddle. Super
value for a paddle of this
quality, and awesome shipping

Just picked up a Jackson Coosa
from a friend and needed a
paddle so I could hit the
water. I had heard great
things about the Bending
Branches paddle and since I
was going to use it for
fishing, I figured the Angler
model would be perfect. I
couldnt be more happy. This
paddle is nice and light in
the hand and easy to paddle
all day. I like the fact that
is breaks down for storage and

recommended it to a couple of
friends.
I would definitely buy this
paddle again.

Fantastic paddle, very light,
love the 2 piece design and
super solid when connected
into 1 piece. I've been
enjoying paddling so much that
I haven't gone fishing yet and
didn't use the hook/ line
retriever or measure unit to
record the woppers I'll be
pullin in in the future! I
gave a 4 stare because I'm a
"little" concerned about
paddle strenghth but most of
that is due to my inexperience
and knowlege of other paddles,
but I've been hittin it hard
and have had nothin but
smiles!

I give this paddle a 4*
rating. Well made, light
weight, priced right. The
only reason I didnt give it a
5* is I wish the shaft had a
cushioned grip, it does get
slick when wet. Ill add some
foam tape to correct that.

Bought for my husband. He loves loves loves the
built in measuring tape. I used it this weekend and
the paddle is a little wider than mine. I like that.
My hands don't have to close as much to grip it.
With a little arthritis in my joints a less closed
grip is a nice added bonus.

Have nothing but great feedback on this paddle. I'm new to the kayak fishing scene and wanted a good paddle but without breaking my bank. Actually used the hook retrieval on the paddle when my dads lure got hung up on a dock. Light weight, durable, and looks great. O and the shipping was extremely fast. Thank you AK

Excellent paddle. Nice weight and the scale on the
shaft eliminates the need to carry additional
equipment on the yak. I'm not sure the hook remover
feature is really practical but it might be nice for
removing a shark or a ray.

I am new to kayaks but not fishing from the water. As one that has thrown a cast or two into the trees, I know how frustrating it can be to retrieve the lure out of the tangled mess of the Florida mangroves. This paddle works as advertised. The ease of design is perfect to "dehook" the trees. Also a lightweight and powerful paddle. I would recommend this to any angler on a kayak.

This is a great paddle. I have used it once...to
measure my first and only fish I've caught since
purchasing my yak. It was an undersized speckled
trout. Oh well, the paddle "measures" up just
fine. Feels great in the hands and the bright
orange blades add to the safety of visibility.

Sweet paddles!
I purchased 2 sets of the 240cm models.
Great design - 2 piece
matching pair; so no bothersome wobble! Ruler on the shaft is great. The colors are awesome and bright for great on-the-water visiblility!! Light and easy to use. Bending Branches makes a great paddle!
Great price too from ACK - I highly recommend them! ACK shipped them so fast & SAFE I thought I bought them in the store - what a great company! I will definitely be back!
PS> Helpful if in the future ACK price tags were stuck on a removable tag ~ not on the paddle itself - had to use Goo-Off to get the sticky off the blade .... just a mere suggestion

I have been a paddle that looks just like this paddle, so when I received the Slice I was surprised at how much lighter it is. Ive had the paddle out 5 times about 25hrs and I am very happy with it the paddle has a very good entry and exit and it's stiff feels more like carbon than glass. I bought it because I wanted a durable paddle for rivers and was going to buy a carbon paddle for open water don't think I need the carbon now. I normally buy my stuff from local dealers but I have found a new friend in Austin C&K. Another thing I called BB as I had a couple of questions and was surprised that the phone was picked up by a real person that was very friendly and had the answers to all my questions, I felt like I was talking to one of the owners. The paddle looks great also. Mike
