These are great lights. The LED's are very bright. It take's a little ingenuity to get the wire from one end to the other if you don't have hatches or an open cockpit. I have a Ocean Kayak Torque with a sealed battery box between your legs and nothing opened behind the front hatch. That's ten plus feet to the front hatch. It took about 20 minutes to snag the two sets of wires from the back with a long crappie pole and a hook lashed to the end. After getting the wires it was as fast as I could drill the holes for the switches and solder and shrink wrap the connections.
