We use the e-case for
kayaking, diving on the boat,
mountain biking in the pouring
rain, and even full submersion
swimming through caves in
Belize. The e-case has held up
great, and everything stays
perfectly dry. The medium size
is perfect to hold a wallet,
smartphone, and point-and-
shoot camera although we once
packed it to capacity with
wallet, 2 passports, 2 large
smartphones, a spare GoPro
battery, and a point-and-shoot
with no issues! Wasnt too sure
how the ziploc-like seal would
function in the real world,
but its been bulletproof so
far and is way more convenient
than the roll-top style cases.
Well worth the couple bucks
difference.

I use the medium E-Case for my iphone when
kayaking. The
small size E-Case is too small for an iphone
(even though
Sealline says it can accommodate an iphone-
it's just a little too
small-way too cumbersome to put in and take
out an iphone
from the small case). The medium E-Case is
very high quality
and holds the iphone with room to spare.
Also, the medium case
with the iphone inside does float when sealed
and placed in the
water. The phone can also be fully operated
while in the case. I
just ordered another medium E-Case from AK. I
plan on using
the second one to store my wallet and keys in
while on the
water. I have found the E-Case to be more
convenient to access
than the waterproof pouches with the roll-down
and buckle
closures. I also ordered the large version of
the E-Case to keep
safety, first-aid, and other misc. items in
while on the water.
The seal works great and it is quick to seal
and un-seal. They
are a little pricey, but you get what you pay
for. I highly
recommend this item.
