Unfortunately the dry sack feature of this bag was tested when a canoe overturned with two of them fully loaded. All contents were kept nicely dry! The bag is thin and lightweight so you do need to give some care as to what is put in the bag not so good for hard, pointy things but keeping that in mind, its a great bag that serves its purpose.
