Product is well made, and
functioned as designed.
During a three day trip to the
10,000 Islands this helped
keep water out of the kayak
A little pricey, but worth it.
I feel this is a great accessory
for the Ultimate. It gives that
added security for anything you
may store in the stern area.
Stern sprayskirt works great and
goes on easy.
Nice cover, tight fit. Does
the job. Hard to install at
first, I used a small dab of
silicone lub,on both sides. As
I started both sides from
either the bow or stern. Using
the D-rings to gently pull it
in place. For that price its
got to go on!
The same info as I posted for the bow skirt, so please read it for general details. I don't have a fishing-equipped Ultimate, but the rod-holder flaps on the stern skirt are a really nice addition for those who do use the fishing model. The pocket on the end is nice for folks who don't wish to mount a separated two-piece paddle at the front of the boat. This skirt is particularly beneficial to use if you have something to store in the rear cubby of the boat that's splash- or sunlight-sensitive, or if you use the bow skirt and are particular about paddling a boat with a balanced appearance (ie, a homerun for those who care about aesthetics). The Native Ultimate skirts are like a trip back to the '80s when car bras dominated. However, I have yet to meet someone who dislikes the appearance these skirts give the boats. Wouldn't get one anywhere but ACK.
