A little pricey for a tarp but if you want to set this up lite for backing in the summer the footprint is a must. Seems to be well made. No problems with leaking in a two day rain.

A footprint is probably the most unsexy of all tent components, a glorified ground cloth in purpose and effect. Because it is so often overlooked due to its unassuming nature, I am proud to provide this moment in the sun while it toils away in the tents shadow, lifting it up here to a 5-star rating, adding the claim that no footprint elsewhere exists to supplement the MHDrifter3 better than this model. For that, I say a hale and hearty Well done, my friend...well done indeed!
