I have a handful of these in different colors. They are light and do a good job of covering your face neck and ears from the sun while you are outdoors. I fish in them in a kayak for 8-10 hours on weekend days and hate to spend any time on the water now without this type of protection. Sunblock just doesn't seem nearly as effective as simply keeping yourself covered. My only complaint, and I am not sure why someone hasn't done something to improve the product yet, is that they cause my sunglasses to fog up ALL THE TIME! I think a simple perforated panel on one side for your breath to escape would do wonders to prevent the glasses from fogging. But as-is, I am happy to be able to cover most of my skin (if not my nose) with the Buff.

These are great to wear under hats/helmets or just as a do rag. I use em mountsin biking, kayaking, and when cooking - I own 4.

I have been using these for 2 year and love them they are cool in the summer and provide some added warmth in the winter. The main reason I where them is for sun protection, no more burnt ears and neck. I have to said ACK is the #1 kayak angler retailer in my book, everything I need.
