ACK Review: I use the Thule Bow/Stern tie downs any time I go more than 10 minutes. I love my kayak and would never want to see it flying down the road in my rear view mirror.

| Review: | Everything works fine except there is no rubber tubing the rope slips through to protect your vehicle from where the ropes constantly rubs. I had purchased another set somewhere else (I don't know where) and it included two 10" strips of tubing to pass the line through to protect your car. | ||

| Review: | Well made product that is very quick and easy. If you have a longer Yak and travel a 55mph or faster, you really should have these. It's a lot cheaper than buying a new Yak because yours flew off the car and was destroyed on the highway. | ||

| Review: | These are really nice straps. I use them on a dock to quickly secure two kayaks under tarps so that wind cannot blow them away. The locking mechanism is both secure and very quick to release and secure. I have a second set for the car to fasten things quickly, securely and easily to roof racks. Well worth the cost. | ||

I had them up and secure in about 2 minutes.....highly recommend! Combine these with some ACK hull straps and you'll get your stuff safely to the lake or ocean EVERY time! | ||
