ACK Review: I have used the Immersion Research Long Sleeve Zephyr Jacket Item#3687 on several outings. I have the mango/grey color. Pros: The Immersion Research Long Sleeve Zephyr Jacket has helped to keep me keep warm during winter fishing trips. The material does a wonderful job of blocking the wind. It is water-proof and keeps dry unlike other jackets while fishing. The bright color helps me be highly visible out on the water so I don’t get run over by powerboaters. It is easy to clean, just throw it in the washing machine with cold water and hang to dry, it looks brand new. The material doesn't absorb body or fish odors like other fabrics. The fit allows me to move in any direction paddling and fishing without restriction. Cons: The way the jacket is made the collar must be worn tight to keep it fully sealed. The fabric doesn't breathe well, so if it were worn in warmer temperatures you would sweat. The collar could be opened to vent the heat, but it would compromise the effectiveness of the product. When it is really cold a liner must be warn to keep warm because of the lack of insulation. In conclusion, this has been my go to jacket for this winter seasons fishing. I believe it is well worth the money, and would suggest to anyone in the market for a good kayaking jacket.

Nice jacket but the sleeves and neckline are NOT waterproof. They will obsorb water like a sponge. On a cold day of paddling this could make your wrists cold if you don't wear gloves over the sleeves. It is a very well constructed jacket and very comfortable. Worth the $ when on sale.

We haven't been able to use our jackets yet, but pleased with the fit & they are very lightweight....comfortable. We did go up a size to insure plenty of room over our clothing. Very happy with the purchase......ACK customer service & the shipping of their orders can not be beat. We love ACK!

This is a great lightweight jacket. Built to feel like a windbreaker. Cuffs Velcro down snugly, plenty of free movement.
