Where I live we all have jacked up golf carts and are always riding in the woods. Was looking for a small / durable cooler to strap on the cart. Man I couldn't be happier with this product. I'll admit, if your looking for this cooler to hold ice for 3 days it's not going to happen. But for a day cooler and a dry storage...Awsome!!! Fixing to order the 30 ct. Everyone should have one of these!

This Dry Box is made strong & durable, hinges & latches very strong. Fast free shipping. I am an avid bass fisherman and needed an extra dry storage container to keep my artificial baits in. This dry box holds 10 plastic 11X 7.25X 1.75 containers. Very pleased!

Real pleased with the look and latch of the cooler/dry box. Ice last for approx. 2 days and I always use the strap to carry it fully packed. Gasket seal keeps foreign objects out. Love it for my kayak and would recommend it to all kayakers. Great deal for the buck plus got an additional 15% my next purchase.

I love these coolers. They are very good looking and present well on the stern of a boat. As i assumed they are really only a day cooler. they keep ice for two days or less when fully prepped and packed. They are strong enough to sit on Im 185 lbs and fit a footprint and volume that is hard to find.

thanks to the side rigging points, its easy to strap to my inflatable kayak and keep things dry, while still being able to open the lid and access my stuff while on the river. i got 2 - one for dry goods & clothes, the other for food/drinks. closure feels secure. not sure id trust it submerged or in consistent big waves over the boat, but perfect for my class III outings. doesnt get 5 stars because i know from experience the handle isnt even close to being able to handle the weight of even an average load. use the strap that is provided for hauling! and all will be fine. besides the broken handle, my older one has lasted well.

This is a great cooler for dry goods. I use it behind the seat in my Ultimate Kayak 14.5 because I got tired of always needing to find suitable tree branches from which to rope-hang food-containing drybags each night. The cooler's latches works great, and if Engel gave it a feature that allowed it to be locked shut (thus raccoon/skunk/opossum/etc.-proof like Yeti coolers), I'd give it five stars. Bear in mind this plastic is a little more delicate than that on many coolers, and the hinges can be hyper-extended to break fairly easily, so if it's dropped on rocks or over-opened, it might break. If this is a possibility, consider breaking your bank instead to get a Yeti cooler from ACK.

Best Deal In Town!! Repeat customer for the well built Engel 30 qt cooler. Have the two smaller sizes for several years now and think they are the best small cooler for the buck. Extremely well constructed with gasket seal and maintains cold well because of the seal. No outside air transfer as with regular coolers.

I have five of these dry boxes in various sizes to keep out moisture and scorpions, and they have been very effective for those purposes over the past six months. However, on two of the boxes, the latches needed to be bent slightly in order to close properly, which was rather a nuisance. ACK provided prompt shipping and an excellent price.

This box is well made for a dry storage box as it has a good seal and keeps out dust and water. The problem is I bought this to use as a cooler and it is worthless at keeping ice. A full cooler of ice with pre-cooled drinks will not last 12 hours before the ice has totally melted. I doubt it will keep ice 4 hours during the summer. Just a bummer because it would have been an excellent cooler if the insulation wasn't so thin. No complaints about ACK. Good to deal with and fast shipping.
