This is a very good product for the price. I used one a few times for my paddle, then chose to purchase another to use as a rod leash. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are the plastic snap is probably not going to last real long (although it is doing fine so far) and the leash itself tends to get tangled easily on anything sticking up off of the kayak. For 8 bucks though, it is a good deal.
