ACK was an excellent buying
expierence. The shipment was
prompt and quick. I recieved
the Tsunami 12.5 about 4 weeks
ago. I live in Newport News,
Virginia and have been able to
use the kayak on both lakes
and on inland bay areas. The
kayak is stable, and tracks
well. I have had no issues
with water entering dry
storage, but I haven't had
waves breaking over boat yet.
I am 5'11" and 240 lbs, and
the boat fits well although
foot braces are almost on to
short, but there is enough
room to stretch my legs out
and feet almost touch front
bulk head. Overall it is a
good kayak and I am glad I got
it.

I was looking for a way for my 2 sons and I to spend some quality time together. I do not rush into things when making a big purchase and since I wanted to buy 3 kayaks let me tell you I reviewed the heck out of what is on the market. There are cheaper kayaks but the saying is true...you get what you pay for. I must have looked at 25 different models and brands of kayaks and I kept coming back to the Tsunami 125. I received them 2 weeks ago and have had them out on the water 4 times. All of the reviews were accurate. Great stability, acceleration, and tracking. The dry hatches get some seepage in them if you capsize but it is very managable with some caulking or the use of dry bags. My first time out, even after 2 hours of paddling I didn't want to quit. I would like to mention that I am a big guy 5'8" at 270lbs and this kayak fits me just fine. My boys and I just love these boats. Also I give Austin Kayaks a 5 star rating in customer service. Great buying experience!!!

I purchased this boat to relax and get a good workout while floating on natures secret recipe for releasing built up tension and refurbishing the body. My Tsunami 125 handles perfectly in small choppy whitecaps in lakes while remaining very stable. Ihave crossed ski-boat wake without the hint of any problems. My Shih-tzu rides in the cockpit with me and loves life. This is my first kayak and I can't possibly think of outgrowing it ever. It was worth shopping for as it was my selection after looking at 32 other options in the touring/rec spectrium. What a fantactic boat!!!
