I work in areas heavily infested with ticks and chiggers and usually find a couple of ticks on me a week but, since I started wearing these I havent had any that came up my legs. Austin Kayak had the best price and fast shipping. Pros: Keeps bugs, dirt, and gravel out of boots Protects my pants legs from snags No permethrin next to skin Keeps sticks and stickers off my boot laces Cons: Could be a few inches higher Conclusion, these are great, easy to install on boots, comfortable, and doesnt appear to add to the heat load, if you go outside in the wild, you must have these.
