I grabbed a set of these straps to get my kayak home and have been using them ever since. The Yakima Tie Down Straps are longer than the pair I’d been using and the clips are protected by a rubber sheath; I then realized that the old straps were scratching up the boats I had previously rented and the new set would protect my kayak and truck. The best part is I can put the strap through the cam buckle and toss it over the kayak without cracking my window.

These straps were exactly what I needed. The rubber coated buckles leave me worry free about damage to anything and they were a foot longer than most of the other brands and I needed that too !!! So far so good, used them at least 4 times so far.
