ACK Review: Sometime down the line you may need the Hobie Island Tandem Drain Plug. Drain Plugs often have a way of disapeering at the most in opportune times. This is not a drain plug that can be found in every local paddle shop. It's much smaller. It fits the Tandem Island Adventure, Hobie Inflatables, and the Hobie Live well. It is good to keep a back-up with you, especially on long trips.

Here's why these plugs deserve 5 stars: I have an early production 2010 Tandem Island. The drain plugs that came with it had O-rings that were small and not UV protected. Hobie replaced the O-rings for free as part of their TI rudder fix package. (The new rings are very beefy and UV protected.) Prior to this, I wasn't aware of the O-ring problem, so I checked the spare plugs I had previously ordered from ACK. Sure enough, the spare plugs did indeed have the new, beefy, UV protected O-ring. Thanks Hobie, and thanks ACK. When I'm out on the water, I genuinely appreciate having high quality gear.
