ACK Review: I have been waiting for this boat to arrive, and now I finally got the best combination boat for whitewater and touring. On a recent trip down the Devil’s River I was very glad to have to ability to switch from the low profile back band when the water got rough, to the higher seat position for more support when the water was more relaxed. The flip top backrest works great, and easily converts from high to low, allowing me to put my skirt on very quickly. I enjoyed the way the Fusion River Tour S tracked and I did not notice any unnecessary drag when the skeg was deployed. All in all, this boat has great performance and is very fluid for leisurely touring without sacrificing one for the other.
