Description:
The Deep See Jack Knife is constructed of 420 series stainless steel for durability.
ACK Review:
I really like this Deep See Jack Knife. I kayak down at the coast where the salt water ruins just about everything, so I needed a knife that would not rust. Recently I used my Jack Knife to cut my anchor line when I could not break it loose and had to get out of the wind. I used the notch cutter and it easily cut the rope with little effort. I like how I can tie the knife to my boat using the lanyard hole and not have to worry about keeping it in the holder all the time, just to keep it secure.

I carry this knife on my wading belt in
saltwater. The knife requires some
maintenance to prevent rust from
building up on the blade. following up
with a spray of corrosion x does the job.
I have some trouble sharpening it
because it s too wide for my automatic
knife sharpener. But overall the
comforter of having a nice knife in my
possession while wading makes it worth
it.

I had no idea what I was looking for to fit the purpose of an emergency break away from the anchor. I salt water fish in the Portsmouth, N.H. harbor as well as in the ocean with my OK. Also in fast running rivers. Was not to sure on buying a knife without a tip but was I mistaken, so glad I bought this knife or I should say, so glad the ACK people directed me towards this knife. It is going to work perfectly for what I need it for and it looks as though it is going to outlive me. Thanks for the advice ACK.
